These animalistic desires

Tonight, you're a different animal, structured with

talons, and I lie unfettered before you.

You dig into me— my cries becoming a spleen coveted after a surrendering, the wild calls of a mating wolf deep

into the wind.

What binds us but this spillage of blood?

Blood, which has foremost been known as the hue of man.

What kills and revives but this sacrosanct pact of conjoining bodies?

These unending demands which keep extending a knife & an olive branch towards me.

O wild lover, I give you everything:

My pride and shame, whatever reduces me to what could & couldn't hold a name.

I give you my uninhibited body to torture in this

witching hours.

Make of me a broken oath, a wounded wolf howling to the moon.

O moon frothing at the sea's surface, in the absence of light,

I'll take the translucence form of your being wrung out of inner-light, darkness or anything close to both.
