Serenity

Serenity is a drop of water in a bubble

Memories dancing in refracting light

The peak before illusion buckles

Before the water makes them crumble

There is a time where both take flight

Serenity is a drop of water in a bubble

Before their natures make them unstable

For one second, it's the perfect sight

The peak before illusion buckles

Life forces sharing a common struggle

And for that second, it's alright

Serenity is a drop of water in a bubble

Little fairy wings of light huddle

Around a core of cerulean bright

The peak before illusion buckles

If only the resulting puddle

Could hold my memories tight

Serenity is a drop of water in a bubble;

The peak before illusion buckles
